How articles get written

Most start from something I worked on — a real project, a problem that took longer than it should have. I write about it while the details are fresh, which means the code examples are things I actually ran.

AI tools

I use AI at different points in the process: generating a first draft, checking for gaps in an explanation, looking up version specifics. I review and edit everything before it goes up. If I wouldn't stake my name on it technically, it doesn't publish.

AI-generated content can be confidently wrong. I run a verification pass on the main technical claims before publishing, using web search to check anything I'm not certain of. Code examples are tested against the version mentioned in the article.

Corrections

If something is wrong, email me. Wrong code in a tutorial is worse than no tutorial. I update posts when I find mistakes, and I'd rather hear about it than not.
